Online Meet Manager Course Available
Hey Everyone
Anyone who is looking to learn a new skill can take part in an online Meet Manger tutorial. Sean Cauley, our BCSSA director of competition is holding a ‘learn Meet Manager’ at our BCSSA office on Feb. 9 from 9am to 2pm. If you are interested please contact Meghan at the board office office@bcsummerswimming.com and she will send you a link on "GOTO MEETING’ so you can take part in this event. If you do this (and even if you don’t) but would like to help out running our meets, please let me know, and I will make sure that you get sometime behind the crash desk. It is fun, to meet other volunteers from other clubs, and we can always use the help.
Thanks Ross

FUTURE STARS CAMPS
HEY
ANYONE INTERESTED IN HOSTING A FUTURE STARS CAMP?Winter Maintenance Starts October 1st! Important Info
Welcome back to Aquaducks swimming!! Winter Maintenance will start Monday, October 1st. We are excited to welcome our new Head Coach Madi Wheeler and assistant coaches Kenzie Cretelli, Mistaya Duhamel and Laura Rybak.
Please remember that before your Duck can enter the pool insurance fees of $20 per swimmer must be paid and we must have your volunteer deposit cheque of $75 per family. If your child swam in the summer their insurance fees have already been paid. Members of the Executive will be on deck to collect the fees and to answer questions. If you are not yet registered, please click on the big red button to the left of our home page.
Swimmers are welcome to enter the pool change rooms 10 minutes prior to their practice time and the Aquatic Centre staff ask that they do not enter the water until directed by their coach. Within a week or so, swimmers will be issued a photo id card that they need to scan before they enter the pool for each practice. Parents are welcome to watch practice from the viewing area. The Aquatic Centre staff ask that after practice is over swimmers leave in a timely fashion. Those who want to stay in the pool must pay the usual swimming fee at the front desk or scan their personal pass.
On Saturday, October 6th, we will be having a bottle drive fundraiser at the Bottle Depot, starting at 9:00 am. Participating families will be chosing routes to take, and collections will wrap up by noon. It takes a few hours to sort, and we usually have everything tidied up by around 1:30.
If you have any questions, please contact any board member or send a note to aquaduckspresident@gmail.com
